Attikon cinema ablaze in Athens



A group of extremists have set fire to the historic Attikon cinema in the centre of the capital following demonstrations over the latest round of economic austerity measures proposed by the government. Greece. 12th February 2012

A group of extremists or hooligans set fire to the historic building Attikon in Athens center. The building burned down. Some groups of hooligans were moving in the center of Athens today, rioting with the police for hours, as Police could not control them,. Those small groups set fires to buildings and stores where they made theft. They also broke some glasses of bank branches.
