On the day of the general strike in Greece against
government's economic austerity measures, around 7am in the morning the
Indignants surrounded the Parliament in Athens.
The Greek Government reacted with:
- a number of 5000 riot policemen.
- blockade of a larger area around Parliament House. Pedestrians have to
show ID and prove that they have work in the center to be allowed to
pass from the Police blockade.
-a big new steel fence around the area of the Parliament House.
The protests of Indignantos will continue all day.
