Athens, Greece, 7 February, 2014.
Greek Riot Police dismantled the banner of the gay, lesbian and trans activists during a protest against homophobia and the oppression of the Russian gay community that took place in front of the Panathenaic stadium, site of the first modern Olympic Games, in Athens.
The protest was called by Greek LGBT communities who claim colorful Olympics, against homophobic / transphobic Russia on the occasion of the opening of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics.

Mε αφορμή την έναρξη των Χειμερινών Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων στο Sochi (Pωσία) η ΛΟΑΤ κοινότητα της Αθήνας οργάνωσε ειρηνική διαμαρτυρία στο Καλλιμάρμαρο για να καταδείξουν τα προβλήματα και τις διακρίσεις που δέχεται η LGBT κοινότητα στη Ρωσία, διεκδικώντας πολύχρωμους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες, ενάντια στις διακρίσεις, την ομοφοβία/τρανσφοβία, την αφάνεια και τον ρατσισμό. Τα ΜΑΤ επενέβησαν και απομάκρυναν το πανό μπροστά από το Καλλιμάρμαρο, παρά τις έντονες διαμαρτυρίες των ακτιβιστών.
